So we're about a week after the Democratic debate. I have to admit, I didn't watch it. 8 politicians on a single stage? Not my idea of an edge of your seat event. Besides, these early debates the candidates are mainly trying to either make a big splash because they were so amazing or stay out of the headlines by not screwing up. Most people aren't paying attention yet anyway. Throughout most of this summer you'll hear a lot about how much each candidate has raised. This is because this is the only metric by which the media can measure the candidates. Polls at this time are difficult to count on because most people know very little about the candidates and are basing their opinions more on looks and reputation, than the issues. That will come later. Right now its all about wooing the donors and that makes me yawn. Luckily I still have new episodes of Lost and Heroes to keep me interested.
