A new beginning

The race is finally over and Obama has gotten enough delegates to win the nomination. Phew. That was brutal. Now the real fun begins. The debates between McCain and Obama should be interesting. There is no denying that McCain has the track record to claim the mantle of reformer and maverick. But if he panders to the Republican base too much he'll lose that title. Obama brings youth and energy to the race, neither of which McCain can match. Can't wait for the first debate to see how things start out.
